No all stars does not move.

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 10 months ago

No. The earth rotates from west to east on its axis. So, all the stars in the sky (except pole star) appear to move from east to west. With reference to earth, the pole star does not appear to move in the sky because it is located above the axis of rotation of the earth in the north direction. It appears to remain stationary at a point in the sky.

The following are the physical properties of metal :

  • The physical properties make them useful for many purposes. For e.g. Copper is used in making electric wires, gold is used to make jewellery, stainless steel is used to make pots, pans, etc
  • Metals react with nonmetals to form ionic bonds. For e.g. Sodium Chloride (NaCl)
  • Metals are a good conductor of electricity which means that they can conduct electricity due to the free moving electrons present in them. Copper is used as wiring as it is a good conductor of electricity.
  • Metals have high melting points and high boiling points as they have strong metallic bonds.
  • All metals are physically lustrous. They have a lustre that makes them shine. Gold is used for making jewellery.

The following are the properties of Nonmetals :

  • Nonmetals have high ionization energies.
  • They have high electronegativities.
  • Nonmetals are insulators which means that they’re poor conductors of electricity.
  • They are dull, they do not have lustre like metals.
  • Nonmetals are poor conductors of heat. They’re poor thermal conductors.
  • They are very weak and brittle. They tend to easily break or shatter.
  • Nonmetals have a low density. They’re light for their size.

Light is a form of energy. It helps in the sense of vision. When light falls on an object, some of the light is reflected back to our eyes. Thus, we are able to see an object because of light being reflected from the object.
Law 1 : The incident ray, the normal at the point of incidence and the reflected ray all lie in the same plane.
Law 2 : Angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection
Law 3 or Law of Lateral Inversion: In a image formed by a mirror, the left of the object appears to be the right and the right of the object appears to be the right. (Stand in front of the mirror and lift your right hand. In the mirror, it appears like you have lifted the left hand and viceversa)

Manure Fertilizer
Manure is a natural or an organic substance obtained by the decomposition of plant and animal wastes. This is done by microbes, earthworms, fungus etc. Fertilizer is a synthetic substance or an inorganic compound.
Low percentage of nutrients is present. High percentage of nutrients is present.
Manure provides a lot of organic matter to the soil. It is slowly absorbed by the plants. Fertilizer does not provide any humus to the soil. It is quickly absorbed by the plants.
Crop productivity is increased only to some certain extent. Crop productivity is increased many folds by its use.
No side effects of manure are absorbed. Chemicals in fertilisers are washed away to the nearby water bodies, causing soil and water pollution.
