The chemical process in which a substance reacts with oxygen to give off heat is called combustion.
Conditions necessary for Combustion
There are three conditions which are necessary for combustion to take place.
1.Presence of a combustible substance. That is, a substance which can burn.
2.Presence of a supporter of combustion like presence of oxygen in air.
3.Heating the combustible substance to its ignition temperature.
If any of these conditions is not met, combustion does not take place.

The friction whenever an object moves through a fluid is called fluid friction. Liquids and gases are fluids. Air exerts frictional force on cars, buses, aeroplanes, rockets, birds, etc. moving through it. Water exerts frictional force on objects like boats, speedboats, ships, fish, etc. which move through it.
The force which always opposes the motion of one body over another body is called frictional force or friction.

A register may hold a computer instruction , a storage address, or any kind of data (such as a bit sequence or individual characters). Some instructions specify registers as part of the instruction. A diode is a specialized electronic component with two electrodes called the anode and the cathode.
Diodes can be used as rectifiers, signal limiters, voltage regulators, switches, signal modulators, signal mixers, signal demodulators, and oscillators. The fundamental property of a diode is its tendency to conduct electric current in only one direction.

The current in a circuit is directly proportional to the electric potential difference impressed across the circuit and inversely proportional to the resistance of the circuit. Reducing the current can be done by reducing the voltage (choice A) or by increasing the resistance. In order to lower the amperage of an electrical circuit, you must either lower the circuit's voltage or increase its resistance. Lowering amperage is done by applying Ohm's law, given by the formula I = V/R, where I is the circuit's total current in amperes, V is the voltage and R is the resistance. Current limiting is the practice in electrical or electronic circuits of imposing an upper limit on the current that may be delivered to a load with the purpose of protecting the circuit generating or transmitting the current from harmful effects due to a short-circuit or similar problem in the load.
