Minute solid particles suspended in air are known as suspended particulate matter or SPM. Unburnt carbon particles given out during the burning of fuels or from the exhausts of vehicles, and fine particles of cement given out from a cement factory are examples of SPM. The finer of these particles cannot be filtered by the hair in our noses and hence are a major cause of lung diseases. They also settle on plants and interfere with photosynthesis.

The bacteria needs warmth to turn the milk into curd. So in summer the temperature is high which is favourable for the growth of bacteria.

Sia ? 6 years, 7 months ago

Curd set faster in hot summer than in cold winter because the bacteria needs warmth to turn the milk into curd so in summer the temperature is hot which helps the bacteria to multiply faster which helps them to change the milk into curd but in winter the temperature is not warmth and favourable.

Akshit Thakur Singh 6 years, 7 months ago

Because in the summer the microorganisms deficiency go faster than the winters and they spoil our food fastly in the summers so sets the curd faster in summers.
