Man-made fibers and not derived from natural sources are called synthetic fibers. Types of Synthetic fibers
- Rayon : Rayon is made from wood (artificial silk) pulp, a naturally- occurring, cellulose- based raw material. Rayon is moisture-absorbent and comfortable to wear.
- Nylon : Nylon was the first synthetic fiber to be made entirely from chemicals. Basic raw materials for the production of nylon are coal, petroleum oil, water and air.
- Polyester: Polyester is a polymer of many ester units.
- Acrylic are some synthetic fibers: Acrylic is a light weight soft and warm synthetic fabric which has a wool like feel.

Preparation of Soil:
The upper layer of earth is called soil in which crop plants are grown. Soil provides minerals, water, air, humus and anchorage to the plants. Preparation of soil is the first step in cultivating a crop for food production. The soil is prepared by ploughing, levelling and manuring.
The process of loosening and turning the soil is called ploughing (tilling). It is done by using an implement called plough. Ploughs are made of wood or iron having an iron tip for easy penetration into the soil. The ploughs are pulled by a pair of bullocks or by a tractor.

- Global warming: Trees play a major role in controlling global warming. The trees balance in the atmosphere by controlling the greenhouse gases. With the increase in deforestation, a number of greenhouse gases is increasing causing global warming.
- Floods : When it rains, trees absorb and store a large amount of water with the help of their roots. Due to deforestation, the trees are cut down and the flow of rainwater is disrupted which causes a flood in many areas.
- Soil erosion: Tree roots anchor the soil. Due to the loss of forests, the topsoil gets direct access to sunlight and heavy rainfall which causes soil erosion. This leads to the fall in the quality of soil which makes it useless for any purpose.
- Loss of biodiversity: This is one of the main problems caused due to deforestation. It leads to the extinction of many animal and plant species which in turn affects the food cycle. Due to deforestation many wonderful species of animals and plants have been lost, and many others remain endangered. It is estimated that around 50 to 100 species of animals are lost each day as a result of the destruction of their habitats.
- Climatic change: Due to the loss of the forest covers, the carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere increases which results in global warming. This results in a change in the climatic condition.

Thermoplastics can be softened by heat . In thermoplastics, the long polymer chains are not cross-linked with one another . Due to this, on heating, the individual polymer chains can slide over one another and thermoplastic material becomes soft and ultimately melts.

Cytoplasm is a thick jelly-like fluid inside the cell membrane. Nearly 80% of the cytoplasm is water. It occupies the space between the cell membrane and the nucleus. All the life functions take place in the cytoplasm. There are many small cytoplasmic bodies in cytoplasm. These are called cell Organelles. All organelles in cytoplasm play an active role in the functioning of the cell.

Forces that act on a body directly or through a connector are called contact forces., e.g., muscular force, frictional force, mechanical force, etc.
Forces which do not make direct contact with a body but act through space are called non-contact forces, e.g., gravitational force, electric force, magnetic force, etc.

Phosphorus is stored in water because phosphorus is very reactive non metal. It catches fire if exposed to air. To prevent the contact of phosphorus with atmospheric oxygen,it is stored in water. Whereas, sodium is very reactive. It reacts vigorously with oxygen and water. A lot of heat is generated in the reaction. It is, therefore, stored in kerosene.
Sodium reacts vigourously with air which prevents it to be stored outside kerosene.
Kerosene is composed of saturated hydrocarbons, with which sodium does not react. It does react rapidly, however, with the water vapor and oxygen in air and therefore must be protected from it in order to remain in elemental form. The following excerpt from an earlier answer to this question, "[sodium] is unsaturated hydrocarbon . Even though sodium is highly reactive it doesn't reacts with oxygen when Na++ is preserved in kerosene. hence," is wrong from beginning to end and should be ignored.

your question is wrong actual question question is phosphorous is kept inside water or Sodium is kept inside kerosene

Bacteria: Bacteria are single- celled microscopic organisms. They can survive under all types of environment, ranging from ice cold climate to hot springs and deserts to marshy lands. Bacteria always live in colonies. They are of spiral shape or rod shape. Bacteria play important role in our life; some bacteria are useful whereas some other are harmful and cause diseases. Bacteria are involved in making of cheese and pickles. Lactobacillus bacteria promote the formation of curd. Antibiotics are also made from bacteria. Apart from this diseases like tuberculosis and typhoid are caused due to bacteria.
Viruses: Viruses are microscopic infectious agent that acts as non-living outside host cell and inside host cell it becomes living and show reproduction. It can affect all kind of organism including animals, plants and bacteria. Common ailments like cold, coughs and influenza (flu) are caused by viruses; serious diseases like chicken pox and polio are also caused by viruses.

The iron object is kept in damp air it gets covered with a red brown flaky substance called rust. This is called rusting of iron. The rusting of iron is a slow continuous process which makes the object useless.
The process of rusting can be represented by the following equation:
<v:stroke endarrow="block">
Iron (Fe) + Oxygen (O2, from the air) + water (H2O) rust (iron oxide Fe2O3)</v:stroke>
