Since the rolling friction is smaller than the sliding friction, sliding is replaced in most machines by rolling by the use of ball bearings. A common examples are the use of ball bearing between the hub and the axle of a ceiling fan and the bicycle.

The gases methane, hydrogen, and carbon monoxide (CO) can be combusted or oxidized with oxygen. The incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons produces carbon monoxide, which is a poisonous and potentially fatal gas to humans. Carbon monoxide reduces hemoglobin's (a pigment/protein in our blood that carries oxygen) ability to carry oxygen around our body, essentially starving our organs of oxygen.

Paragliding is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying paragliders: lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing. Paragliding is a potentially deadly occupation and at the same time beautiful from all aspects. However I have lost some friends and other were badly injured too over the years. Most death occures in competitions in my experience. Probably due to the correlation of risc and reward.

Plants, especially the green ones prepare their own food by a process called photosynthesis. They are therefore known as autotrophs and primary producers in the food web. All green plants comprise a specialized structure known as chloroplast, and the green pigments called chlorophyll within the cell and are responsible for the synthesis of food.

The 5 R's – Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle. Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle – Five actions that can make your organization and you a better steward.
Refuse to buy or accept products that can harm you, your company and the environment. Use the power of your dollar to tell companies what you want and do not want.
Reduce, to use less. Think about what you use and buy. Could you use less? Reduce the amount of energy you use to heat your facility by getting an energy audit (a lot times for free) and save MONEY in the process.
Reuse something you already have instead of buying something. Replace needing a single use item, with something you can use over and over again. Both of these options will save you money as well.
Repurpose: To take something and use it for something else. This requires a bit of thinking and craftiness, but doesn’t have to be beautiful.
Recycle: And last but not least, if the above four options won’t work, recycle. Maybe you missed the opportunity to refuse or reduce because you just weren’t there in your green journey when these purchases were made. Maybe there is no alternative. Recycling is a great way to open your eyes to all that you toss and a chance to rethink your future purchases.

The various shapes of the bright side of the moon as seen during a month are called the phases of moon. The day on which the whole disc of the moon is visible is known as the full moon day. Thereafter, every night, the size of the bright part of the moon appears to become thinner and thinner. On the fifteenth day, the moon is not visible which is called as the new moon day. The next day, only a small portion of the moon appears in the sky. This is known as the crescent moon. Then again the moon grows larger every day. On the fifteenth day once again the full view of the moon is visible.
