Asexual reproduction is the type of reproduction in which only one parent is involved. The two methods of Asexual reproduction are as follows - 1) Binary fission - when one unicellular organism splits into two daughter individual. The nucleus of the parent organism splits into two nuclei. The cytoplasm also divides into two and each contains one nucleus. A constriction is formed so deep that it divides the organism in two. For eg - amoeba 2) budding - In this, a small outgrowth or projection called bud is formed on the body of the parent. The nucleus of the parent organism is divided into two and one goes to the bud. The bud then grows and detaches from the body of the parent and grows as an individual. For eg - hydra.

Muskan Raj 1 year, 8 months ago

There are four main types of air pollution sources: mobile sources – such as cars, buses, planes, trucks, and trains. stationary sources – such as power plants, oil refineries, industrial facilities, and factories. area sources – such as agricultural areas, cities, and wood burning fireplaces.

Harmful effects of air pollution depend on the concentration of pollutants, duration of exposure to the pollutants and types of pollutants that caused pollution.

  1. In plants, it causes fruit damage, leaf damage, chlorosis, necrosis, mottled spots on leaves, less yield of crops and causes premature death of plants, etc.
  2. In humans, it causes respiratory ailments like asthma, hay fever, allergic diseases, etc., cancer and genetic mutations.
  3. Carbon monoxide (CO) released as a pollutant can combine with haemoglobin thus, preventing the supply of O2 to the cells and causing death due to asphyxiation because it leads to damage of the brain.
  4. The burning of fossil fuels, exhaust from automobiles, etc., release SO2 and NO2 into the atmosphere. These gases are oxidised to sulphuric acid and nitric acid in the air. They get dissolved with the rainwater falling on the earth and form acid rain.
  5. The various vehicle such as car, buses, trucks running on petrol release harmful gases.

All school bags have broad strap to reduce the pressure exerted by the things inside the bag ,if the straps would not be broad then area would be less so pressure exerted would be higher this can cause severe pain in the shoulder and back ,thus bags have broad straps.
