The fish and frog lay eggs in hundreds and millions of sperm because all the eggs do not get fertilized and developd into an new individuals. This is because the eggs and sperms get exposed to water movement , wind rainfall also , there are other animals in the pond which may feed on eggs . Thus production of large number of eggs and sperm is necessary to ensure fertilisation of at least at a few of them.??

The solar system is made up of the sun and everything that orbits around it, including planets, moons, asteroids, comets and meteoroids.

The term meteor is used to describe the streak of light produced as matter in the Solar System falls into Earth's atmosphere creating temporary incandescence resulting from atmospheric friction.

A meteoroid is matter revolving around the sun or any object in interplanetary space that is too small to be called an asteroid or a comet. Even smaller particles are called micrometeoroids or cosmic dust grains, which includes any interstellar material that should happen to enter our solar system.

If a person is in open space when thunder and lightning begin, and there is no suitable shelter nearby, then the following precautions should be taken:

  1.  Stay away from poles or other metal objects.
  2. Never stand under a tree to take shelter during a thunderstorm because there is danger of lightning striking the tree and burning it up.
  3. Never lie down on the ground, instead, squat low on the ground. The person should place his hands on the knees with his head between the hands as this position will make him the smallest target to be struck
