A blank presentation has a white background and black text without any additional design elements. By default, the presentation only contains a title slide. You can click on the text boxes and type in your own text. To add a slide, click on the option for a New Slide and select the type of slide you want.

A gateway is a hardware device that acts as a "gate" between two networks. It may be a router, firewall, server, or other device that enables traffic to flow in and out of the network.

While a gateway protects the nodes within network, it also a node itself. The gateway node is considered to be on the "edge" of the network as all data must flow through it before coming in or going out of the network. It may also translate data received from outside networks into a format or protocol recognized by devices within the internal network.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago

Gateways are used to connect Different networks together such as TCP/IP and DEC net.
A gateway is a network node that connects two networks using different protocols together. While a bridge is used to join two similar types of networks, a gateway is used to join two dissimilar networks.

Continuous plantation of crops in a field makes the soil poor in certain nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, etc. Plants require nutrients for their proper growth and functioning. When a farmer continues to grow’ crops one after the other, then all nutrients available in the soil reduce and the crop yield decreases automatically.

There are different methods by which nutrients in the soil can be replenished. Fertilizers and manures contain plant nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium. Fertilizer can be added to the soil. It helps in replenishing exhausted soils with rich sources of organic nutrients. Manure is environment friendly and replenishes the soil with organic nutrients. Compost is decomposed organic material. It reintroduces living organisms and nutrients in the soil. It improves soil structure and provides a healthy environment for plant roots.
