storm is a disturbed state of environment creating severe weather conditions mainly high speed winds. A thunderstorm is a storm with sound and lightning and typically also heavy rain or hail.

 • Thunderstorms develop in hot and humid areas.
 • High temperature in this areas cause hot humid (with water vapours) air to rise up. So, strong upward rising winds with water droplets are generated.
 • At high altitude, these water drops freeze and fall again towards earth.
 • Upward movement of air and downward movement of water drops, together, cause lightning and sound.

Wind is air the motion .it is produced by the uneven heating of the Earth's surface by the sun .since the earth surface is made of various land and water formations,it absorbs the sun radiation unevenly.two factors are necessary to specify wind speed and direction.

the process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize nutrients from carbon dioxide and water.

Krishna Manohar 5 years, 3 months ago

Photosynthesis is the food for plants

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

The process by which plants make their own food in the presence of sunlight, carbon-dioxide present in air, water, minerals and chlorophyll present in leaves is termed as photosynthesis.
Green plants make their food themselves. Green leaves make food from Carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.

Leaves have several tiny pore-like structures on the lower surface. Such a pore is called stomata through which leaves absorb carbon dioxide from air. Water is transported to the leaves through hair like pipelines from the roots. These pipelines are present throughout the plant, i.e. from roots to branches and leaves. These pipe-lines are known as Xylem. Xylem is a type of tissue. Chlorophyll, a green pigment, is found in green leaves. Chlorophyll absorbs sunlight and gives energy. Chloroplast is the site of photosynthesis. Carbohydrate is used as food and oxygen is emitted out to atmosphere. This whole process of making food by plants is called photosynthesis.

The reaction that takes place in the process of photosynthesis can be written as:

6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2

Speed: Speed can be defined as the distance travelled by an object in unit time.
In a pendulum, the bob is said to complete one oscillation, when it moves from one position and comes back to the same position.

The motion of pendulum starting from one extreme end to another extreme end and back to the first extreme end is called one oscillation. Similarly, the motion of a simple pendulum from its mean position to extreme left and extreme right and back to the mean position is called one oscillation.

Dilution of concentrated acid is an exothermic process. If water is added to a concentrated acid, the heat generated may cause the mixture to splash out and cause burns. When the acid is added to water slowly with constant stirring, the mixture will not splash out.

Step 1: A fresh leaf is taken.
Step 2: The leaf is boiled in water for few minutes to soften the cells in the leaf.
Step 3: Now, dip this leaf in iodine solution.
Step 4: The color of the leaf will changes into blue black color when iodine is added to it which shows the presence of starch in it.

We find animals of certain kind living in particular climatic conditions because every living organism is adapted to live in the particular habitat. Every living thing develops their feature according to the area they live in.

For example, penguins have thick skin to protect themselves from cold and webbed feet to swim in water. It will not be able to survive in the hot climate of tropical regions as they developed thick skin for the protection from cold not from the hot and humid temperature.

Decomposers are organisms that feeds on dead or decaying organisms so, they carry out the natural process of decomposition.

When plants and animals die, they become food for decomposers like bacteria, fungi and earthworms. They recycle dead plants and animals into chemical nutrients like carbon and nitrogen that are released back into the soil, air and water.
