    HCl in the lumen doesnt digest the mucosa because goblet cells in the mucosa secrete large quantities of protective mucus that line the mucosal surface. The temperature of body does not get below 35°C or above 42°C this is the reason why the clinical thermometer has a short temperature range from 35°C or 42°C. In clinical thermometers, there is a small bent at the bottom of the tube containing mercury. ...
