The process of deriving large crystals of pure substances from their solutions is known as crystallisation. It is a physical change. Crystals of salt are obtained by the evaporation of sea water.
Similarly crystals of copper sulphate can be obtained by adding copper sulphate powder to the boiling solution of water and dilute sulphuric acid. This mixture when filtered and allowed to cool produces crystals of copper sulphate.

An electromagnetic field is referred as a physical field of objects that are electrically charged. It is one among the four fundamental forces of nature, other includes strong interaction, weak interaction, and gravitation.
The electromagnetic field affects the change in the behaviour of charged objects surrounding a particular place. It extends indefinitely throughout space and known as electromagnetic interactions.

- Photosynthesis is the making of food by plants. The essential ingredients in making this food are sunlight, the chlorophyll that is present in green plants, water and carbon dioxide in the air.
- Photosynthesis is necessary not just for plants to make food for themselves, but for animals, including us eventually.

A distance-time graph shows how far an object has travelled in a given time. It is a simple line graph that denotes distance versus time findings on the graph.
- Distance is plotted on the Y-axis.
- Time is plotted on the X-axis.

The reaction between an acid and a base to give a salt and water is known as a neutralisation reaction. Acids and bases react with each other to nullify the effect of each other. Let us consider a simple reaction. Take a sample of NaOH which is a base and add drops of dilute HCl.
The reaction will be as follows:
NaOH (aq) + HCl(aq) → NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)
Therefore while suffering from acidity it is prescribed to take antacid which are bitter in taste i.e. they are base. And on entering the body the base neutralise the excess acid released into the stomach and convert it into salt and water.

Concave lens:
1) It has both surfaces curving inwards.
2) It is thicker at edges and thinner at middle.
3) It diverges the light coming towards it.
4) Its focal length is negative.
5) It always produces a virtual image.
Convex lens:
1) It has both surfaces curving outwards.
2) It is thicker at middle and thinner at the edges.
3) It converges the light coming towards it.
4) Its focal length is positive.
5) It always produces a real image and forms a virtual image only when the object is between the focus and optical centre.

Sorter's Disease is another name for Anthrax. It is caused by the bacteria Bacillus anthracis. Historically, anthrax was called wool sorter's disease because individuals who sorted wool of infected animals contracted the disease.
Symptoms of Anthrax (Woolsorters' Disease, Ragpickers' Disease)
- Cutaneous anthrax: Painless papule, blister, or ulcer after contact with infected material. ...
- Inhalation anthrax: Fever, cough, and shortness of breath – similar to an atypical pneumonia.
- Gastrointestinal anthrax: Nausea and vomiting, diarrhoea.

Crystallization is a technique used for the purification of substances. A separation technique to separate solids from a solution.
- Purification of seawater
- Separation of alum crystals from impure samples
- In the pharmaceutical industry, crystallization is used as a separation and purification process for the synthesis and isolation of co-crystals, pure active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), controlled release pulmonary drug delivery, and separation of chiral isomers.

Calculation of Velocity using distance-time graph:

To calculate the velocity, let take two points A and B on the slope OB.
Draw one line parallel to y-axis and another parallel to x-axis from B.

Again draw a line parallel to y-axis and another parallel to x-axis from point A.
Let, line parallel to x-axis from point B cut at a point, S2 at y-axis.
Line parallel to x-axis from point A cut at point, S1 at y-axis.
Let, line parallel to y-axis from point B cut at t2 at x-axis.
Line parallel to y-axis from point A cut at t1 at x-axis.
Now, BC= Distance = S2 – S1 and AC = time = t2 – t1

We know that slope of the graph is given by the ratio of change in y-axis and change in X-axis.
Or, Slope = (text{Change in y-axis})/(text{Change in x-axis})`
Thus, slope, AB=BCACAB=BCAC
Or, v=s2−s1t2−t1v=s2-s1t2-t1
Where, vv= velocity, (s2−s1)(s2-s1) = interval of distance and (t2−t1)(t2-t1) = time interval
Thus, velocity=DistanceTimevelocity=DistanceTime
