Tubers are enlarged structures in some plant species used as storage organs for nutrients. They are used for the plant's perennation (survival of the winter or dry months), to provide energy and nutrients for regrowth during the next growing season, and as a means of asexual reproduction.

Hot air rises because when you heat air (or any other gas for that matter), it expands. When the air expands, it becomes less dense than the air around it. The less dense hot air then floats in the more dense cold air.
This creates a buoyant force that causes the warmer air to rise.

A gas is defined as a state of matter consisting of particles that have neither a defined volume nor definite shape.Under ordinary conditions, the gas state is between the liquid and plasma states.Oxygen,Nitrogen are gases.
A pure gas may be made up of individual atoms (e.g. a noble gas like neon), elemental molecules made from one type of atom (e.g. oxygen), or compound molecules made from a variety of atoms (e.g. carbon dioxide).
A substance possessing perfect molecular mobility is called as gas.
