A virtual image is that image which is formed when the light rays coming from an object do not actually meet but appear to meet when produced backwards. These images can not be obtained on the screen. The common example is the image formed in the mirror when we stand infront of mirror.

Transpiration | Translocation |
Transpiration is the water evaporation in the form of water vapour from the leaves. | Transport of the soluble photosynthesis product or food from the leaves to other plant parts is referred to as translocation. |
Transpiration always happens against gravity. | Translation does not happen against gravity. |
Transpiration primarily includes the xylem cells that become effective by the roots during the absorption process. | Translocation involves both xylem and phloem cells to carry the synthesized food materials inside the plant. |
Transpiration is controlled by osmotic potential and water potential. | Translocation is accomplished by using ATP energy that offers the osmotic pressure necessary for food to travel upward and downward. |

The weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period.
Climate is the statistics of weather over long periods of time. It is measured by assessing the patterns of variation in temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, precipitation, atmospheric particle count and other meteorological variables in a given region over long periods of time.

We inhale oxygen because you need oxygen for some biological processes. A fairly important one is the production of ATP, the energy all of our cells use. In the process, electrons are used and oxygen has a high affinity for electrons. The waste products of this process are Carbon Dioxide and Water, in different steps along the way.

Essential raw materials for photosynthesis are -
- carbon dioxide: it is a gas which is released into atmosphere during respiration.
- Water: it is another requirement for photosynthesis which is transported upward through xylem tissue to the leaves, from where it reaches photosynthetic cells.
- Chlorophyll: it is green pigment in plants which act as catalyst. It is responsible for absorption of sun's light by the plant. The chlorophyll pigments are photoreceptor molecules which play a key role in the photosynthesis process.
- Light: light effects photosynthesis with its intensity, duration and quality. In green light the rate of photosynthesis is minimum, while in red or blue light the rate of photosynthesis is maximum.
