Chemical change is a change in which new substance is formed and it is a non reversible change. For example ripening of fruit is a chemical change as its change is taking place chemically from inside because once a fruit is ripened it can't be too back in in mature position. Physical change is a change in which no new substance is formed and it is a reversible change for example melting of ice is a physical change as we can again change the water into ice.

Bhoomika Abhi 7 years, 7 months ago

Chemical changes are not reversible and forms a new substance...........on the other hand .........physical changes can be reversed and does not form a new substance

Respiration also involves the process by which chemical energy stored in the food is released in the form of ATP along with carbon dioxide and water.
Breathing takes place in the respiratory organs called as lungs. Respiration takes place in the cells.

The gravitational constant, symbolized G , is a physical constant that appears in the equation for Newton's law of gravitation. Sir Isaac Newton, the English mathematician, quantified the behavior of the force of gravity . He noticed that the gravitational force between two objects is proportional to the product of their masses, and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.
According to Newton's law , given any two objects having mass m 1 and m 2 (in kilogram s) whose centers of mass are separated by a distance r (in meter s), there exists an attractive gravitational force F (in newton s) between the objects, such that:

F = Gm1 m2 / r 2

The value of G in this equation is approximately equal to 6.67 x 10 -11 newton meters squared per kilogram squared (N x m 2 x kg -2 ). This constant is uniform throughout the Solar System, and apparently throughout our galaxy and other galaxies in its vicinity.

Convex Mirror is a curved mirror where the reflective surface bulges out towards the light source. This bulging out surface reflect light outwards and are not used to focus light. These mirrors forms a virtual image as the focal point (F) and the centre of curvature (2F) are imaginary points in the mirror that cannot be reached. This results in formation of images that cannot be projected on a screen as the image is inside the mirror. The image looks smaller than the object from the distance but gets larger as the object get closer to the mirror.
Uses of Convex Mirror

  • Convex mirrors are often used in the hallways of buildings including stores, schools, hospitals, hotels and apartment buildings.
  • They are used in driveways, roads, and alleys to provide safety to all the bikers and motorists at curves and turns and other places where there is a lack of visibility.
  • They are also used in some automated teller machines as a handy security feature that allow user to see what all is happening behind them.
  • They are used in passenger side mirror on a car and somewhere it is labelled as “objects in mirror are closer than they appear” to warn the driver.

Lateral inversion is the effect produced by a plane mirror in reversing images from left to right. As we observe our image on a plane mirror, we can see that our left side is at the right side of the image and our right side is at the left side of the image. It is also known as perversion.
