Effective Safety Measures:
- A cyclone forecast and warning service.
- Rapid communication of warnings to the Government agencies, the ports, fishermen, ships and to the general public.
- Construction of cyclone shelters in the cyclone prone areas, and administrative arrangements for moving people fast to safer places.
Actions on the part of people:
- Do not ignore the warnings issued by the meteorological department through tv radio, or newspapers.
- We should make necessary arrangements to shift the essential household goods, domestic animals and vehicles, etc. to safer places
- Avoid driving on roads through standing water as floods may have damaged the roads and
- Keep ready the phone numbers of all emergency services like police, fire brigade, and medical centres.
- Remain ready to evacuate the threat areas as required.

When we are sleepy or feel drowsy, we yawn because our brain cells lack sufficient amount of oxygen. So, we yawn to gather a large amount of oxygen for brain cells to function properly.

This happens because when you blow air over the paper,the air pressure above the paper reduces.The air pressure below the paper remains the same.As the pressure below the paper is greater than that above the paper it pushes the paper up.The faster the air moves ,the more is the drop in pressure in that region.
