Before the formation of clouds, water takes up heat from the atmosphere to change into vapour. When water vapour changes back to water form as raindrops, this heat released to the atmosphere warms the air around. The air tends to rise and causes a drop in pressure. More air rushes to the centre of the storm. This cycle is repeated. The chain of events ends with the formation of a very low pressure system with very high speed winds revolving around it. It is this weather condition that we call a cyclone. The factors like wind speed, wind direction, temperature and humidity contribute to the development of a cyclone.

Autotrophic Nutrition: Auto means self and trophos means nourishment. Plants are called autotrophs because they make their food themselves. The making of food for themselves is called the Autotrophic nutrition. Autotrophic nutrition is found in green plants, and in some bacteria.
Heterotrophic Nutrition:The word Heterotrophic is the combination of two words i.e. Hetero + Trophos. Hetero means ‘others’ and ‘trophos’ means nourishment. If organisms depend on others for their food, such a mode of nutrition is called Hetetrophic Nutrition.
Animals cannot make their food themselves. They depend for food upon plants. Therefore, nutrition in animals is called Hetetrophic Nutrition. Animals are known as Heterotrophs.
Saprotrophic Nutrition:The uptake of nutrients by organism from dead and decaying matter in the form of solution is called the saprotrophic nutrition. The organisms which use saprotrophic mode of nutrition are called saprotrophs. For example: fungi.

Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB)
The problem with the fuses is that whenever overloading occurs the fuse wire melts and it has to be replaced to complete the circuit. This problem is overcome in miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) which are widely used nowadays. MCBs are switches that turn off automatically when there is an overload or a short circuit. After solving the problem in the circuit, the switch can be turned back on, and then the current flows as usual.

If there are no platelets in the blood, then the blood would not be able to clot. A clot is formed because of platelets. They release blood clotting chemicals at the site of injury. These chemicals form a clot and prevent further bleeding.

Photosynthesis is the process through which plants convert light energy into chemical energy. Here is the chemical reaction involved:
12H2O + 6CO2 + Light → C6H12O6 + 6O2 + 6H2O
As we can see, water and carbon dioxide combine to form glucose and oxygen. Since new chemical species are formed, photosynthesis is clearly a chemical change.
