A call detail record (CDR) is a data record produced by a telephone exchange or other telecommunications equipment that documents the details of a telephone call or other telecommunications transaction (e.g., text message) that passes through that facility or device.---------------------------------- For telephone service providers, they are critical to the production of revenue, in that they provide the basis for the generation of telephone bills. For law enforcement, call detail records provide a wealth of information that can help to identify suspects, in that they can reveal details as to an individual's relationships with associates, communication and behavior patterns, and even location data that can establish the whereabouts of an individual during the entirety of the call. For companies with PBX telephone systems, call detail records provide a means of tracking long-distance access, can monitor telephone usage by department or office, and can create listing of incoming and outgoing calls.

Fertilization is the first step in sexual reproduction. When sperms come in contact with an egg, one of the sperms may fuse with the egg. Such fusion of the egg and the sperm is called fertilization. During fertilization, the nuclei of the sperm and the egg fuse to form a single nucleus which results in the formation of a fertilized egg or zygote. It is due to fertilization that the new individual inherits some characteristics from the mother and some from the father.

In the flowering plants, an ovary is a part of the female reproductive organ of the flower or gynoecium. Specifically, it is the part of the pistil which holds the ovule(s) and is located above or below or at the point of connection with the base of the petals and sepals

pistil is the female reproductive part of a flower.

.. ... 6 years, 3 months ago

Pistil, the female reproductive part of a flower. The pistil, centrally located, typically consists of a swollen base, the ovary, which contains the potential seeds, or ovules; a stalk, or style, arising from the ovary; and a pollen-receptive tip, the stigma, variously shaped and often sticky. In pollination, compatible pollen grains land on the stigma and then germinate, forming a pollen tube. The pollen tube grows down through the tissue of the style to deposit sperm for the fertilization of the ovules in the ovary. Pistils in the collective sense form the gynoecium, in distinction to the male reproductive parts, or androecium (see stamen).

The nasal cavity is a large, air-filled space above and behind the nose in the middle of the face. The nasal septum divides the cavity into two fossae.[1] Each fossa is the continuation of one of the two nostrils. The nasal cavity is the uppermost part of the respiratory system and provides the nasal passage for inhaled air from the nostrils to the nasopharynx and rest of the respiratory tract.

An electric bell consists of an electromagnet, a switch ,an armature like structure that is held by a spring and make and break arrangement with screw and iron bar. When the switch is pressed, the circuit is closed the electric current starts flowing through the wire and coil of electomagnet. Then the electromagnet starts acting like a magnet and it attracts the iron bar towards itself and the hammer attached to the iron bar strikes the gong and the bell rang. When electomagnet attracts iron bar it loses it contact with the screw. When it loses it's contact ,the circuit is broken and current does not flow through it and electromagnet releases the iron bar. Now, when it is released, again it comes in contact with screw and the circuit is closed, now again electromagnet attracts iron bar towards itself . This work of making and breaking of circuit continues till the switch is pressed and the hammer strikes the gong.

Gaurav Seth 6 years, 3 months ago

Electric current flows through the coil when the switch is ON, and the iron core acts as an electromagnet. The iron core attracts the hammer towards it. The hammer hits the bell and produces a sound. The circuit breaks at the screw contact when the hammer moves towards the iron core. At this point, the iron core ceases to be an electromagnet. The hammer is pulled back to its original position due to the spring action of the steel rod, and then touches the contact again to complete the circuit. The circuit is completed and current flows through the coil again, and the hammer strikes the bell again. The process repeats itself and you hear a ringing sound since the hammer keeps hitting the bell, until the switch is released.

They get deflected as they are negatively charged particles. When the cathode rays are passed through an electric field between two parallel plates, cathode rays are deflected towards positive plate. This determines the charge of the particles constituting the cathode rays. As these are deflected towards positive plates, the particles of cathode rays are negatively charged.

Drip irrigation is a method of farming where it water provided is upto the required amount the crop or the plants need.it is a type of micro-irrigation that has the potential to save water and nutrients by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants, either from above of the soil surface or buried below the surface.. Bawris are one of the old methods of rain water management. These are deep wells dug in the ground which have steps to reach the water stored. These bawris help in storage of water for longer time as the amount of evaporation of water from the deep well is very less.Bawris are very popular in Rajasthan. People of Rajasthan get access to water through bawris even in summer season.

The respiration that takes place in the presence of oxygen is called aerobic respiration because it uses ‘air’ which contains oxygen. The aerobic respiration involves utilization of oxygen for the breakdown of chemical bonds in glucose to release energy in high amounts. It is the chief source of energy for plants and animals. Animals and plants that use oxygen for respiration are aerobes. Majority of animals have aerobic respiration. C6H12O6+6O2⟶6CO2+6H2O+Energy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anaerobic Respiration The respiration that takes place in the absence of oxygen is anaerobic respiration. In this process, incomplete oxidation of food material is being and produces carbon dioxide and alcohol. Beside this other organic matter like citric acid, oxalic acid, lactic acid, etc are also produced. This process is also known as intramolecular Respiration. The anaerobic respiration takes place in organisms like yeast, some bacteria, and parasitic worms. The animals and plants that can survive and obtain energy even in the absence of oxygen are called Anaerobic. Glucose⟶Alcohol+CO2+Energy
