All numerals starting from 0 and so on are called whole numbers. Whereas natural numbers start from 1 and end at 9 or 10. All natural numbers are whole numbers but not all whole numbers are natural numbers.

Let us add one more number i.e., zero (0), to the collection of natural numbers. Now the numbers are 0,1,2, … These numbers are called whole numbers.

So all natural numbers with 0 are the whole number.
