Shadows
A shadow is a space where light from a light source is blocked by an opaque object.
- A shadow is formed when a part of light is blocked by the object. If all the light is blocked by an object, then there will not be any shadow.
- Shape of the shadow is always similar to that of the object but the size varies.
- Shadows of different types of objects may have similar shape as the amount of light they may be blocking is same.
- Shadows cannot occur in dark rooms (due to absence of light) and full lit rooms with no objects (due to absence of opaque object).
- A shadow is always obtained on a screen like walls, ground etc.
A shadow is always black or grey irrespective of the colour of the object

Anything which we eat to live is called food. For example: Roti ,bread ,butter ,fruits vegetables ,pulses, vegetable oil ,butter ,desi ghee ,eggs ,meat ,chicken ,fish ,egg etc.
Food is necessary for us because it provides matter for the growth of our body and energy to do work . Food is a substance eaten by us to do work, grow ,maintain our body and remain healthy. Animals eats food to live.

Recently, my grandfather brought two toy motorcars for me and my younger sister, Neha. Our joy knew no bounds. We used to play with them. One day while we were playing, Neha suddenly took my motorcar and ran away. I chased her and soon I caught her. Seeing herself helpless, she threw her. When I picked it up I found it was of no use because it had badly broken. 1 became angry and started beating my sister. Thus, our quarrel started. I was saying that she had thrown the motorcar deliberately but she was not ready to accept the truth. In the last my grandfather came to the spot and took me to the toy shop to buy a new motorcar. I became happy and thus our quarrel ended.

The greatest prime number between 1 and 10 is 7(Prime numbers are the numbers which are divisible by 1 and the number itself.There are 4 prime numbers between 1 and 10 which are 2,3,5,7 but the biggest is 7 )
Note- 2 is the only even prime number and 1 is neither prime nor composite.

No, all living beings do not need the same kind of food. Some animals eat plants as food, and they are called herbivores. Some animals feed on other animals, and they are called as Carnivores. Some others eat food from plant sources as well as animals, and such living beings are called omnivores.
