The most common unit is MIPS or millions of instructions per second (usually measured as an average when running some standard workload). Some companies try to use the clock frequency of the processor as an indicator of speed but it is a relatively poor indicator of the performance of the processor. It is a somewhat mor reliable indicator of the level of silicon technology used but in the modern era of a focus on low power consumption, clock frequency is an increasingly less reliable indicator of anything except the frequency of the oscillator that governs the CPU.

The process of evaporation followed by condensation causes the formation of clouds. Water present on the earth’s surface gets evaporated due to sunlight, and then rises up in the atmosphere. On reaching a certain height, water vapour present in air condenses to form tiny droplets of water. These water droplets collect to form clouds that float in air.

(b) 578 x 161
Rounding off 578 to the nearest hundreds, we get 600
And, rounding off 161 to the nearest hundreds, we get 200
Therefore, 600 x 200 = 1,20,000
It means that estimate of 578 x 161 is equal to 1,20,000 according to the general rule.

- When leaves from a tree fall on the pond water they float. A paper boat, thin twigs etc are light and they float on water.

When you open your mouth wide, you can move your lower jaw away from your head, but if you try to move your upper jaw, you will be able to move it. There is a joint between the upper jaw and the rest of the head which is a fixed joint.

In our body hinge joint occurs at elbow, knee, finger joints and jaw. We can bend our arm only in one direction i.e. forward and backward. This is because our elbow is a hinge joint at the lower arm bones.

Evaporation is the process of liquid turning into vapour. It is exactly the opposite process of condensation. When water changes from liquid state to atmospheric vapour state to enter the water cycle, it becomes a primary pathway for evaporation.

Malleability is a property of material by which in can be beaten to form its thin sheets. Most of the metals are malleable. Examples of malleable metals are zinc, iron, aluminum, copper, gold, silver, and lead. silver and gold are highly malleable. Ductility has to do with tensile stress, whereas malleability deals with compressive stress. Materials such as lead are very malleable and can be hammered into shape with little chance of fracturing, but they are not ductile and will easily fracture if pulled from two opposite directions.
