Dabhi Dhavnisha 5 years, 1 month ago

LCM is xy

Sahil Kumar 5 years, 1 month ago

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 1 month ago

  • Answer is xy

  • Given x and y are co-primes then HCF of them is 1.

    Now we've,

HCF×LCM = product of the numbers

    or, HCF×LCM =xy

    or, LCM =xy. [ Since HCF=1]

  • The sum of two coprime numbers is always coprime with their product.

    For example:

5 and 9 are coprime numbers.
Here, 5+9=14 is coprime with 5×9=45

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 1 month ago

A set of numbers which do not have any other common factor other than 1 are called co-prime. The LCM of two co-prime numbers is equal to their product.

So, If x and y are two co-primes , then their LCM is xy

Answer is 1m

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 1 month ago

As, the area of the square field=36 m2

So, the side of the square field = √36 = 6 m

Also, the area of the outer square=Area of the square+Area of the path=36+28=64 m2

So, the side of the outer square= √64=8 m

Now, the width of the path=(Side of the outer square−Side of the inner square)/ 2

=(8−6)/2 = 2/2 = 1 m

So, the width of the path is 1 m.
