Dhamma is the Prakrit word for Sanskrit term Dharma.
Ashoka's dhamma was not related to the worship of any god or performance of sacrifice. He considered that it was his responsibility, just like a father has towards his children, to instruct the people of the empire so as to reduce conflicts among them. He was inspired by the teachings of the Buddha.

A closed path through which the electric current flows is called an electric circuit. The direction of electric current in an electric circuit is from the positive terminal to the negative terminal. This is opposite to the direction of flow of electrons; which is from the negative terminal to the positive terminal.

Sum of two consecutive multiples of 17 is 85.
-
These numbers.
-
Let the two consecutive multiples of 17 be 17x and 17x + 17.
According to the Question,
17x + 17x + 17 = 85
34x + 17 = 85
34x = 85 - 17
34x = 68
x = 68/34 => 2
Therefore, x = 2
And,
17x = 17(2) = 34
(First multiple of 17)
17x + 17
= 17(2) + 17
= 17(2) + 17
= 34 + 17
=> 51
(Second multiple of 17)
Thus, the two multiples are 34 and 51.

The narrator told her that they were in the playground and were walking towards the house. Miss Beam was walking up and down the garden with a tall girl.The little girl called the narrator and asked what dress that tall girl was wearing? He explained to her the details of the dress: a blue cotton skirt and a pink blouse.She further enquired the colour of her hair. And knowing the the light colour of her hair, she guessed her to be Millie- the Head Girl.The narrator told her that an old man was tying up roses.She responded that he was Peter - a 100 years old gardener. Then a girl with curly red hair on crutches crossed, she told that she was Anita. The narrator realized that he became more thoughtful and sensitive towards the issues of disability and did not want to leave the place, but he had to go. Miss Beam proudly said that the system of her school was so special and unique that the visitors also feel so.

The place where an organism lives is known as habitat. The term habitat is more specific environment. Habitat constitutes a part of the total environment of that region. It must offer to an organism shelter, food and congenial climatic conditions which will be well-suited for the organism to survive, reproduce and flourish. In other words, a place where suitable conditions for the existence of an organism prevail is the habitat of that organism. For example, the habitat of a fish may be a lake, pond, river, sea or other aquatic systems. The habitats of cacti and camel are sandy, dry, hot deserts. Snowbound, extremely cold Polar Regions are the natural habitats of polar bears. The habitat of Indian rhinoceros is grassland and forest area of the foothills of the Himalayas in Central Nepal and some pockets of plains of west Bengal and Assam. Red blood corpuscle of human blood is the habitat of the malarial parasite (plasmodium).
If we say that fishes live in water and monkeys live in forests, it would not be adequate. Freshwater fishes cannot live in sea water and vice versa. Bonnet monkeys and langurs are found only in the tropical forests of South India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Malay, and Singapore. These forests offer to these monkeys a habitat with specific climate, woods, plants and other animals to interact with. The habitat of a tiger must have small animals for the tiger to hunt and feed upon. It should also include thick vegetation in the form of shady trees and shrubs where the tiger can hide and wait for its prey. These conditions form the biotic components of a habitat of tiger. Thus the Himalayan tiger can only live in the Himalayan forests and the Bengal tigers in the Sunderbans. These tigers cannot live in the rocky mountains of North-West America.

The perimeter of a rectangle is defined as the sum of all the sides of a rectangle. For any polygon, the perimeter formulas are the total distance around its sides. In case of a rectangle, the opposite sides of a rectangle are equal and so, the perimeter will be twice the width of the rectangle plus twice the length of the rectangle and it is denoted by the alphabet “p”. Let us derive the formula for its perimeter and area.
Suppose a rectangle has length and width as b and a, respectively.
From the definition of the perimeter we know, the perimeter of a rectangle, P = 2 ( a+b) units
where
“a” is the length of the rectangle
“b” is the breadth of the rectangle
