Cloth required to stitch one shirt= 2 m 15cm = 2 x 100 cm + 15cm = 215 cm

Length of cloth = 40 m = 40 × 100 cm = 4000 cm
Number of shirts can be stitched = 4000/215 = 18.6

But we cannot consider number of shirts in decimals.

Therefore, 18 shirts can be stitched and 130 cm (1 m 30 cm) cloth will remain.

Ⓓⓙ Ⓐⓛⓞⓚ 4 years, 5 months ago

Cloth required to stitch one shirt = 2m 15cm 2\times100\ +15 = 215 cm Total cloth available = 40m = 4000cm No. of shirts that can be stitched = 4000\div215\ =\ 18 Therefore, 18 shirts can be stitched from 40m cloth and 130cm cloth will be left.

A globe is a spherical model of Earth, of some other celestial body, or of the celestial sphere. Globes serve purposes similar to maps, but unlike maps, they do not distort the surface that they portray except to scale it down. A model globe of Earth is called a terrestrial globe

Aarzoo Singh 4 years, 5 months ago

A globe is a small model of a earth . It is like a 3D map of the earth. It is used to show the shape and location of the continents, oceans, and seas on a smaller scale. It also shows the shape and location of different countries.
