The books we read today are different from the Rigveda in that the Rigveda was chanted and heard, it was later handwritten. The Vedas were memorized by the students, and later passed on to the next generations by speaking, listening and then memorizing but today books are written and then read.

Miss beam was the director of a boarding school where boys and girls stayed and studied. There was something very special about this school - children have to live the life of the blind, deaf and lame for a day. On a day when a student had to be blind she/he had to cover her/his eyes and move around with someone's help. On the day when students had his lame day she had to remain lame by binding his legs and then using a pair of crutches. The purpose of this kind of training was to make children understand the struggles of disabled people around the world and develop sympathy and care.
