The Earth is regarded as a unique planet because of the following reasons: (i) It is the only planet known to support life. It has oxygen and water present in proportions that allow life to thrive. (ii) It also has a temperature range that supports life. (iii) The proportion of water present in about two-thirds of the surface of earth when compared to land.

Gaurav Seth 4 years, 11 months ago

The earth is called a unique planet because:

  1. It is the only planet which has favorable conditions that support life. It is neither too hot nor too cold.
  2. It has water and air, which are very essential for our survival.
  3. The air has life-supporting gases like oxygen.

The seals may have been used to stamp bags or packets containing goods which were sent from one place to another. After a bag was closed or tied, a layer of wet clay was applied on the knot and the seal was pressed on it. The impression of the seal is known as sealing. If the sealing was intact, one could be sure that the goods had arrived safely. More than 2000 such seals have been found at various Harappan archaeological sites. They were in general small, flat, rectangular or square in shape and made of clay, soapstone or copper. They were often carved with figures of humans and animals like the unicorn, humped bull, goat, tiger and elephant.

c)4 minutes

Every four minutes, the earth has turned one degree. In one minute of time, the earth has turned 15 minutes of arc. So, every four seconds of time, the earth rotates one minute of arc. Each of the infinite meridians has a different time as its position relative to the sun changes during the rotation.

C) Stereotypes

Ashritha Reddy J 4 years, 11 months ago

Ok

Gaurav Seth 4 years, 11 months ago

Stereotypes prevent us from doing certain things that we might otherwise be good at.

Explanation:

Stereotyping is setting an image about people or things based on certain characteristics or their membership to a particular group. Stereotyping is harmful for the individual and society for the following reasons:

1. We set an image of people belonging to one community and then pass on this impression to others. Thus, this establishes an unbroken chain of unestablished form of lies.

2. This image gets fixed and we start to recognise that group based on the set image. This stops us from appreciating the individual qualities.
