In the past, a foreigner is referred to as a person who was not part of a certain society, culture or we can say an outsider. For example - A city dweller might have considered a forest dweller as a foreigner but not the two farmers from different cast and religion living in the same village were a foreigner to each other.
In other words, foreigner means a person who is not considered as a member of a society or considered an outsider as he may have come from far of places.

The noun manuscript evolved from the Latin manu scriptus, meaning “written by hand.” Manu is “hand” and scriptus is “to write." It refers to old documents actually written by hand before books were made, but it can also refer to a writer's unpublished work whether it's handwritten or typed. Manuscripts were written on palm leaves and on bark of birch tree, while inscriptions were made on stone slabs and pillars. he definition of a manuscript is a book that is written for submission to a publisher, or a book, play or other creative work that is written by hand instead of typed. The author's copy of a book that the author has just turned in to the publisher is an example of a manuscript.
