The Northern Black Polished Ware culture (abbreviated NBPW or NBP) is an urban Iron Age Indian culture of the Indian Subcontinent, lasting c. 500–300 BC, coinciding with the emergence of 16 great states or mahajanapadas in Northern India, and the subsequent rise of the Mauryan Empire. The Northern Black Polished Ware (NBPW) is a pottery type from Ancient India, dating to the millennia Before Common Era (BCE). NBPW is known for its lustrous black finishes and the varieties of organic forms it was made into.

Jawahar Lal Nehru, the former Prime Minister in his book "Discovery of India" wrote India was always united inspite of geographical, religious and cultural differences. In his book The discovery of India Jawaharlal Nehru says that Indian unity is not something imposed from the outside but rather it was something deeper and within its fold, the widest tolerance of belief and custom was practised and every variety acknowledged and even encouraged.

The copying of the manuscripts relied upon the accuracy of the scribes. As a result, historians find it difficult to use the information from the manuscript and have to read different manuscript versions of the same text to guess what the author had originally written. Manuscripts refers to old documents actually written by hand before books were made, but it can also refer to a writer's unpublished work whether it's handwritten or typed.

Stars are very big and hot celestial bodies made up of gases. They have their own heat and light, which they emit in large amounts. Planets are celestial bodies, usually smaller than stars. They do not have their own heat and light. Planet does not have its own light while star emit their own light. Planet revolves around a star while star does not revolve around any celestial bodies. 3. Planet does not twinkle while star does.

Asteroid is a large rocky body in space, in orbit around the Sun. Meteoroid is much smaller rocks or particles in orbit around the Sun. If a meteoroid enters the Earth's atmosphere and vaporizes, it becomes a meteor, which is often called a shooting star.

The Garo Hills are part of the Garo-Khasi range in Meghalaya, India. They are inhabited mainly by tribal dwellers, the majority of whom are Garo people. It is one of the wettest places in the world. The range is part of the Meghalaya subtropical forests ecoregion. The headquarters town of Tura is 323 km from the state capital Shillong via Guwahati, at an altitude of 657 m. The highest point in the Garo Hills is Nokrek Peak with elevation of 1412 m. Tura has a picturesque landscape of hills against a backdrop of low-lying plains.

Forests are affected by wars because forest products are used for fulfilling various needs and requirement during war. In the case of India, during the First World War and the Second World War the forest department cut trees freely to meet British war needs. Thus, wars also led to destruction of forests.

Plants are called producers because they are able to use light energy from the sun to produce food (sugar) from carbon dioxide and water. Animals cannot make their own food so they must eat plants and/or other animals.
Animals that eat only plants are called herbivores. Deer, grasshoppers, and rabbits are all herbivores.
