Yes, it can. A shadow is caused by the interruption of light from a single source. If you have more than one light source, you can have more than one shadow. Some shadows may not be as distinct (diffused light, shadow on brightly lit surfaces, etc.), and multiple shadows will practically always overlap to some extent.

The dicotyledons are also known as dicots. They are the groups into which all the flowering plants or angiosperms were formerly divided. The name dicotyledons refer to the seed having two embryonic cotyledons. There are around 200,000 species of dicotyledons.
In dicotyledons, the embryo consists of an embryo axis and two cotyledons. Cotyledons are generally swollen part which acts as a food reserve for the developing seedling. The embryo axis has two ends. The one which forms the shoot tip is called plumule and the portion at the lower end which forms the root tip is called radicle. The whole content is enclosed within a protective cover, seed coat. The seed coat is made up of an outer layer called testa and an inner layer called tegmen. And a seed is attached to the fruit through a structure called hilum.

Seal the end of a plastic water bottle. insert the needle of a large syringe into the bottle. Seal around the needle with gum. You will then be able to draw the air from the bottle into the syringe. The bottle will collapse due to the air occupying the space being removed. You can the inject the air back into the bottle and watch the opposite affect.

• It bears flowers, buds, leaves, and fruits.
• It conducts water and mineral salts from the roots to the leaves.
Similarly, it carries the food manufactured by the leaves to other parts of the plant.
• Green stem has chlorophyll and can carry out photosynthesis.

There are two types of magnets: temporary and permanent. Magnets that retain their magnetic properties only for a short period of time are called temporary magnets. Magnets that retain their magnetic properties for a long period of time are called permanent magnets.
Temporary magnets are usually made of iron, cobalt, or nickel. These materials behave like magnets only when they are near a strong magnet. They quickly lose their magnetic property if the influence of the strong magnet is removed.

We know that Earthworm are regarded as a friends of farmer. They are also called as natural plough man. Due to their boring habit, they help in soil aeriation. It feeds on dead and decaying organic matter present in soil and egest compost (Vermicompost) as a worm casting. Compost obtained from earthworm (vermicompost) is very fertile. It contain all the essential nutrients for plant like Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium, different minerals, plant growth hormones, etc. that enhance plant growth, suppresses disease in plants, increases porosity and microbial activity in soil, and improves water retention and aeration. Vermicompost also benefits the environment by reducing the need for chemical fertilizers. Thus, Earthworm are good for the plants.

The changes which take place in the body of an organism during acclimatisation are temporary and can be reversed. On the other hand, the changes which take place during adaptation are permanent and cannot be reversed.
