Classification is a method of grouping, in which we place similar things together in one group. Example: Arrangement of books in a library is an example of classification. In a library, books on the same subject are kept in one place, so that it will not be difficult to locate them.

Mars is known as the Red Planet because iron minerals in the Martian soil oxidize, or rust, causing the soil and atmosphere to look red.

Subobh Sharma 5 years ago

Thanks ??

Gaurav Seth 5 years ago

Mars is called red planet because of the reddish hue on its surface. The hue comes from the fact that the surface is rusty, as in, it’s rich in iron oxide.
Iron left out in the rain and will get covered with rust as the oxygen in the air and water reacts with the iron in the metal to create a film of iron oxide.

Hue means colour

A closed path through which the electric current flows is called an electric circuit. The direction of electric current in an electric circuit is from the positive terminal to the negative terminal. This is opposite to the direction of flow of electrons; which is from the negative terminal to the positive terminal.

Meghna Thapar 5 years ago

A reversible change might change how a material looks or feels, but it doesn't create new materials. Examples of reversible reactions include dissolving, evaporation, melting and freezing. All changes in the world are one of the two types – Reversible changes and irreversible changes. A change which can happen backward, that is, can be reversed is called a reversible change. ... A change which can happen backward, that is, can be reversed is called a reversible change. If you keep water in the freezer for some time, it transforms into ice. But as soon as you take it out of the freezer, it turns into water again. This is a reversible change.

Gaurav Seth 5 years ago

Answer is Scavenger

An omnivore is an animal whose species normally derives its energy and nutrients from a variety of food sources, that may include plants, animals, algae, fungi and bacteria. The cockroach feeds on both plant cells (vegetable waste) and animal cells (dead insects). They are omnivores because they eat grass and leaves but they also eat meat which is bats.
A herbivore is an animal that gets its energy from eating plants, and only plants.
A carnivore is an organism that derives its energy and nutrient requirements from animal tissue, whether through predation or scavenging.
Scavenger is an animal, such as a vulture or housefly, that feeds on the dead or decaying matter.

To get pure substances

Gaurav Seth 5 years ago

We see that, before we use a substance, we need to separate harmful or useless substances that may be mixed with it. Sometimes, we separate even useful components if we need to use them separately. For examples:

(a)The process that is used to separate grain from stalks etc. is threshing.

(b)Sieving allows the fine flour particles to pass through the holes of the sieve while the bigger impurities remain on the sieve.
