Power = 750w
V = 220volts
P=V x I
I = {tex}\frac PV=\frac{750}{220}{/tex}
=3.40A
By ohm's law, we have V=IR
R = {tex}\frac VI=\frac{220}{3.40}{/tex}
=64.7 OHMS.
The current passing through circuit is 3.40A and Resistance = 64.7 OHMS.

Plant cell have a rigid outer covering called the cell wall. The cell wall lies outside the plasma membrane. The plant cell wall is mainly composed of cellulose. It is permeable and is dead layer. Its main function is to provide the plant mechanical strength and shape. Cell walls permit the cell of plant, fungi and bacteria to withstand very dilute external media without bursting. The cell swells building up pressure against the cell wall. The wall exerts an equal pressure against the swollen cell.

Filtration is technically defined as the process of separating suspended solid matter from a liquid, by causing the latter to pass through the pores of a membrane, called a filter. The most common example is making of tea. While preparing tea, a filter or a sieve is used to separate tea leaves from the water.  Through the sieve pores, only water will pass. The liquid which has obtained after filtration is called the filtrate; in this case, water is the filtrate. The filter can be a paper, cloth, cotton-wool, asbestos, slag- or glass-wool, unglazed earthenware, sand, or any other porous material. Filtration is used in water treatment and sewage treatment.

Food: Plants provide food to humans as well as animals. Plants prepare their food themselves but plants are used by other living beings for food purpose.
Water: Plants regulate the water cycle. They move water from soil to atmosphere through a process called transpiration.
Clothes: Plants like cotton provide us clothes to wear.
Oxygen : Plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen in the air that is used by all living beings for breathing.
Medicines: Several plants are used for medicinal purpose.Aloe vera ,Tulsi are few examples .

Causes of Water Pollution:  Water pollution is caused due to several reasons. Here are the few major causes of water pollution:
Sewage And Waste Water: Sewage, garbage and liquid waste of households, agricultural lands and factories are discharged into lakes and rivers. These wastes contain harmful chemicals and toxins which make the water poisonous for aquatic animals and plants.
Dumping: Dumping of solid wastes and litters in water bodies causes huge problems. Litters include glass, plastic, aluminum, styrofoam etc. Different things take different amount of time to degrade in water. They affect aquatic plants and animals.
Industrial Waste: Industrial waste contains pollutants like asbestos, lead, mercury and petrochemicals which are extremely harmful to both people and environment. Industrial waste is discharged into lakes and rivers by using fresh water making the water contaminated.
Oil Pollution: Sea water gets polluted due to oil spilled from ships and tankers while traveling. The spilled oil does not dissolve in water and forms a thick sludge polluting the water.
Acid Rain: Acid rain is pollution of water caused by air pollution. When the acidic particles caused by air pollution in the atmosphere mix with water vapor, it results in acid rain.
Global Warming: Due to global warming, there is an increase in water temperature. This increase in temperature results in death of aquatic plants and animals. This also results in bleaching of coral reefs in water.

They are present in hot deserts which are scarce in water so in order to reduce the loss of water by Transpiration from the surface of the leaves, its leaves are reduced to spines. This is a type of adaptation of the plant. In addition, cacti have spines instead of leaves. These minimise the surface area and so reduce water loss by transpiration. The spines also protect the cacti from animals that might eat them.
