The inability of the body to completely separate supplements from nourishment is known as malabsorption. This may happen because of a lack or interference of the digestive enzymes.
Side effects of malabsorption incorporate looseness of the bowels, weight reduction and awkwardly extensive and smelly stools. Doctors test for conceivable malabsorption by looking at stools for fat. At times, a biopsy of the small digestive intestine is fundamental.

Recycling of Paper:
Recycling of paper is done by the following method:
- Take some old newspapers, magazines, used envelopes and notebooks or any other waste paper and tear them into small pieces and put them in a tub.
- Put some water into the tub so that the pieces of paper remain submerged in water for a day.
- Make a thick paste of paper by pounding it.
- Take a fine wire mesh fixed to a frame and spread the thick paste of paper on it.
- Pat it gently to obtain a uniformly thick layer of paper paste. Wait till all the water from paste drains off.
- A sheet of old cloth or a newspaper can be used to soak up extra water present in the layer of paper paste.
- Remove the layer of paper paste from the wire mesh carefully and spread it on a sheet of newspaper kept in the sunshine to remove all the water left in the layer of paper paste and make it completely dry.
- This dried and thin layer of paper paste is the recycled paper.

103) Plants do need food for their survival and they would not wait or depend on others to provide them food. There is a particular mechanism in plants with which they prepare their food. This mechanism is known as Photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is a biological process used by plants to prepare their food with the help of sunlight and energy.
The overall reaction of photosynthesis process is:
6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2
6 molecules of Carbon dioxide + 6 molecules of Water produce 1 molecule of Glucose + 6 molecules of Oxygen

Garbage contains two types of materials, viz. biodegradable and non-biodegradable. Substances which rot and get decomposed by microbes are called biodegradable substance. Wastes from organic origin are biodegradable in nature. Biodegradable substances can be turned into compost.
Farmers often make compost from farm waste leaves and stalks and animal dung. For this, a compost pit is dug in the ground. The waste is dumped in the compost pit and then covered with soil. After about two months, everything decomposes and appears like soil. This is compost. Compost is very good manure and helps in increasing soil fertility.
