Magnets can be naturally occurring or man-made. The man-made magnets are called artificial magnets. They are of various shapes – bar magnet, horse-shoe magnet, cylindrical or ball-ended magnet. The bar magnets in pairs should be stored by separating them with a piece of wood and keeping soft iron bars across their opposite ends to prevent loss of magnetism.

When we bring magnet near the electronic items, they may get destroyed.
For example: In television, when we place a magnet near to it, magnet create distortion on the screen. In television, when we place a magnet near to it, magnet create distortion on the screen.
The magnetic field produced by the magnet affect the CRT based TV and computer monitors. The monitors and TVs use a metal plate at the front of the picture tube, to focus electron beams from the electron gun. This plate is known as shadow mask. When this plate get magnetized from external magnetic fields, it produces discoloration at that point.

A closed path through which the electric current flows is called an electric circuit. The direction of electric current in an electric circuit is from the positive terminal to the negative terminal. This is opposite to the direction of flow of electrons; which is from the negative terminal to the positive terminal.

Lack of precipitation either rain or snow for a longer period of time in any region is the cause of drought. Excessive rain in any region leads to flood.
Soil erosion does not occur easily where the land is covered by vegetations. Soil erosion is caused mainly by the large scale cutting down of forest trees and other plants. Large number of trees is cut down for obtaining wood for burning as fuel for building purposes and the manufacture of paper. When the forest trees and other plants are cut down then the top soil gets exposed and becomes loose which causes soil erosion.
The soil erosion could be prevented by preventing large scale cutting down forest trees and by afforestation of large number of plants and trees.
