When warm air rises, it expands and cools. Cool air can't hold as much water vapor as warm air, so some of the vapor condenses onto tiny pieces of dust that are floating in the air and forms a tiny droplet around each dust particle. When billions of these droplets come together they become a visible cloud.

An opaque object blocks the light falling on it. This creates an area of darkness on the side of the object away from the source of light. A translucent object also creates a faint area of darkness. An area of darkness formed by an opaque object obstructing light is called a shadow. The following three things are required for a shadow to form:
- a source of light
- an opaque object
- a screen or surface behind the object.

Curvilinear Motion: When the motion is on a curved path, it is called curvilinear motion, e.g. a car moving on a bend.
Circular Motion: When the motion is on a circular path, it is called circular motion, e.g. the motion of the earth in its orbit.

If something remains at a place after some time and do not change its position then the object is said to be at rest. For example – a table.
If something or an object is not at the same place after some time and changes its position then the object is in motion. Example – the motion of an ant.
