An omnivore is usually defined as an animal whose species normally derives its energy and nutrients from a diet consisting of a variety of food sources that could include plants, animals, algae, fungi, and bacteria. Some omnivores are known to hunt and eat their food, like carnivores who consume herbivores and other omnivores. While others are scavengers and eat dead matter. Many do eat eggs of other animals.

A fiber is converted to yarn and yarn is converted to fabric. So in order, they serve as raw-material to other in subsequent stage.
A fiber is basically filament (something that you can practically see at home - take cotton in hand and each hair-type thing that makes cotton bunch is Filament - explained in most laymen terms)
A yarn is thread made out of fiber after due processes of combing and stretching and so on (bit technical but easy to understand)

- Its main function is to add bulk to the diet, which in turn helps in the digestion process and healthy function of the bowel system.
- Prevents constipation and helps in getting rid of undigested food.
- They help in retaining water in the body.

The ‘Khadin’ system of rainwater harvesting in Rajasthan is a very long (100 m – 300 m long) earthen embankment called ‘Bund’ built across the lower edge of the sloping farmland. The rainwater from the catchment area flows down the slopes and stopped by the ‘Bund’ to form a reservoir. The rainwater which collects in the reservoir formed by the ‘Bund’, and in the well, seeps slowly into the land (or ground). This water – saturated land is subsequently used for growing crops.

Everything around us is made up of tiny pieces or particles. Our body is made up of particles. The particles which make up matter are so small that we cannot see them even with a high power microscope. The particles which make up matter are atoms or molecules. When a crystal of potassium permanganate is placed in a beaker of water, the water slowly turns purple on its own, without stirring. On dissolving, the particles of potassium permanganate get into the spaces between the particles of water.

Onion bulb stems are modified plant structures that derive from stem tissue but exist under the soil surface. Stems have nodes with buds where leaves and flowers arise at specific locations, while roots do not. Plants use under ground stems to multiply their numbers by asexual reproduction and to survive from one year to the next, usually over a period of dormancy Some plants produce stems modified to store energy and preserve a location of potential growth to survive a cold or dry period which normally is a period of inactive growth, and when that period is over the plants resume new growth from the underground stems.
