The snail move by crawling.

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 5 months ago

Snails move with the help of their muscular foot. They produce a wave like motion along their foot, contracting and stretching their muscle which pushes the body of the snail against the surface moving in the forward direction. Also, there is a gland present in front of their foot which secretes fluid named mucus helping them to slide smoothly over the surface.

Milk is a suspension of tiny droplets of oil (cream) in a watery liquid. The process of centrifugation is used to separate cream from milk. The milk is put in a close container in big centrifuge machine. When the centrifuge machine is switched on, the milk is rotated (or spun) at a very high speed in its container. The centrifugal force acts on the milk and due to this, the milk separates into cream and skimmed milk. The cream, being lighter, floats over the skimmed milk and can then be removed.

The following are the ways by which wastage of food can be avoided.

1) Buy only what you need in absolute quantities.

2) Try to avoid storing foods in large amounts.

3) Try to eat food only when you are hungry. So eat fresh and stay healthy.

4) Try to organise your kitchen such a way that everything becomes visible to you. So you know what is there and can avoid buying the same thing in excess amounts.

5) If you can’t finish your food completely, try to share it with someone before you start eating.

Anju Rana 6 years, 6 months ago

Sieving is the method of separation of fine particles from bigger particles by allowing the finer particles to pass through the holes of a sieve, leaving the bigger particles in the sieve itself. It is generally used in homes to separate flour from impurities such as pieces of stone, stalk, and husk.
