A Parallelogram is a flat shape with opposite sides parallel and equal in length. Angles "a" and "b" add up to 180°, so they are supplementary angles. NOTE: Squares, Rectangles and Rhombuses are all Parallelograms. In Euclidean geometry, a parallelogram is a simple (non-self-intersecting) quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel sides. The opposite or facing sides of a parallelogram are of equal length and the opposite angles of a parallelogram are of equal measure.

A Parallelogram is a flat shape with opposite sides parallel and equal in length. Angles "a" and "b" add up to 180°, so they are supplementary angles. It is a quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel, congruent sides. Its four interior angles add to 360° and any two adjacent angles are supplementary, meaning they add to 180° .

There are a total of 7 days in a week and each day has 24 hours.

So there are total 168 hours in a week.

Now the painter works for 5 days 4 hours each day so working for total of 20 hours.

So 20/168 is the answer

Printer works for 4 hours everyday So week - 7 days So 7×4=28 hours So, the painter works 28 hours in a week

Find perimeter of rectangular land=2*(l+b).that is 2*(0.7+0.5)=2*1.2=2.4. Now multiplty the perimeter by 4, 4*2.4=9.6.
Thank you

Yogita Ingle 5 years ago

Given length of rectangle field = 0.7 km

breadth of rectangle field = 0.5 km

Perimeter of rectangle field = 2[l+b] =2[0.7+0.5]

Perimeter of field = 1.2×2=2.4km

length of filed fencing = 4P=4×2.4

length of fence = 9.6km

∴ length of wire needed is 9.6 km.

Length of floor = 5m Breadth of floor = 4m Area of floor = l×b 5m × 4m 20 sq.m Side of square carpet = 3m Area of square carpet = side × side 3m × 3m 9sq.m Area of floor that is not carpeted = 20sq.m - 9sq.m = 11sq.m

Yogita Ingle 5 years ago

Length of the floor is 5m

The breadth of the floor is 4m

So, ( applying ar. l×b )

ar. of floor =4m×5m=20m2. Side of the carpet is 3m

So, (applying ar. of sq. =side×side(s))

area of carpet=3m×3m=9m2

To find the area of the floor that is not carpeted or (uncarpeted) we will (−) minus the ar. of the floor from ar. of carpet

area which is not carpeted or( uncarpeted ) =20m2−9m2

=11m2
