We know, the sum of the angles of a triangle = 180°
Since there are two triangles,
therefore, the sum of two triangles is 180° + 180° = 360°
The sum of two triangles is = the sum of angles of a quadrilateral = The sum of the four angles = 360°.

First we have to find the area of the hall
Area of the hall =l×b
=16×12
=192m2
Area of the marble slab =8x6
=48cm2
{1 m2 =10,000 cm2}
(Convert m2 into cm2)
192m2=19,20,000 cm2
Therefore, how many slabs required=1920000÷48
=40000.
Thus, 40000 tiles are needed to cover the floor.

Length of rectangular floor of room= 16 m = 1600 cm
breadth of rectangular floor= 12m = 1200 cm
∴Area of rectangular floor = length× breadth = 1600× 1200 = 1920000 cm2
Area of rectangular tile = length× breadth = 8× 6 = 48 cm2 9
Now number of tiles required to cover the floor = 19200/48 =40,000
number of tiles required =40,0000 tiles
