2 )Find the HCF of 81 and 108
81 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 3
108 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 4
HCF of 81 and 108 = 3 × 3 × 3 = 27
Ratio = 81 / 108
Divide numerator and denominator with HCF
= (81/ 27 ) / ( 108/27 )
= 3 / 4

To find smallest 3 digit number divisible by 24, take the multiples of 24
24×1=24
24×2=48
24×3=72
24×4=96
24×5=120
So the smallest 3 digit number divisible by 6, 8 & 12 is 120.
This type of question have many methods but try to prefer this one as it is shortest.
