24/36 is the answer ?

Neha Mishra 2 years, 10 months ago

All those fractions obtained by multiplying both the numerator and denominator of 2/3 by the same integer are equivalent to 2/3.

2/3 × 2/2  = 4/6

2/3 × 3/3 = 6/9

2/3 × 4/4 = 8/12

2/3 × 5/5 = 10/15  and so on...

4/6, 6/9, 8/12, 10/15  ... are equivalent to 2/3.

Thus, 4/6, 6/9, 8/12, 10/15  ... are equivalent to 2/3.

No rudra you are wrong if you want to solve this problem you have to first convert 3 upon 6 or 3 upon 4 in its simplest form and see that which is greater so the answer will be that roop do ? exercise for longer time ? but rudra you have given correct answer but in the way you solve the problem it was wrong.

Rudra Narayan Sahoo 2 years, 11 months ago

You exercise for longer time because the numerators are same but denominators different so the fraction which has smaller denominator i.e. greater
