Area of paper = length x breadth
Area of paper = 6 x12= 72 cm2
Area of stamp= length x breadth
Area of stamp= 2 x1.5 = 3 cm2
Number of stamp = Area of paper/ Area of stamp
Number of stamps = 72/3 = 24
Therefore , 24 stamps can be pasted on the paper.

Side of a square= 36 cm =36/100 metre= 0.36 metre
Area of square = side x side
Area of square = 0.36 x0.36
Area of square = 0.1296 square metres
