Natural numbers: all the non zero positive integers are called natural numbers. Eg. 1,2,3,4…so on
Whole numbers: all non negative integers are called whole numbers. Eg. 0,1,2,3…so on
The point to be remembered is that all natural numbers are whole numbers but all whole numbers are not natural numbers. For ease you can remember that 0 is a whole number but not a natural number.

Natural numbers are the set of positive integers, that is, integers from 1 to ∞ excluding fractional n decimal part. They are whole numbers excluding zero. Natural Numbers are also called counting numbers. Zero is the only whole number which is not a natural number.

- The company sells 3000 bags of white cement. So their profit

Also, the company sells 5000 bags of grey cement. So her profit

Since 25000 > 24000
Therefore, the company is in a loss and the loss is
25000 – 24000 = Rs. 1000 - Let 'x' be the number of white cement bags sold.
According to the question, we get
x {tex}\times{/tex} 8 = 6400 {tex}\times{/tex} 5
{tex}\therefore{/tex} x = {tex}\frac{6400 \times 5}{8}{/tex} = 800 {tex}\times{/tex} 5 = 4000 bags
Therefore, 4000 bags of white cement must be sold to have neither profit nor loss.

A set of Whole Numbers is a collection of positive numbers and zero. The whole numbers set is represented as {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 ,……………}. Whole Numbers are the combination of zero and positive integers.
