Definition: Two lines that meet at a polygon vertex.

Usually found in triangles and other polygons, two of the sides that meet at a vertex of the polygon are called adjacent sides.

Adjacent Angles are two angles that share a common vertex, a common side, and no common interior points. (They share a vertex and side, but do not overlap.)

∠1 and ∠2 are adjacent angles.

ABC and ∠1 are NOT adjacent angles.
(∠ABC overlaps ∠1.)

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 4 months ago

Cost of 8 books = 72 Rs.
Cost of 1 book = 72 ÷ 8 = 9 Rs.
So, cost of 45 books = 45 × 9 = 405 Rs.

Natural no starts from 1 to infinite and whole no starts from 0 to infinite.

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 4 months ago

The numbers 0, 1, 2, . . . . . , N all are called Whole Numbers i.e. if 0 is included in natural numbers, then it is known as Whole Numbers. Whole numbers are located at the right side of the number line. Zero is the smallest whole number. Also, Negative numbers are not whole numbers. For example = 0, 13, 22, 290, 19, 34, 95 all are whole numbers.

The numbers 1, 2, . . . . , N all are called Natural Numbers. 0 and Negative numbers are not natural numbers. 1 is the smallest natural number. For example 34, 22, 2, 81, 134, 15 all are Natural Numbers.
