Height of the wooden door
= 2m 8cm
= 2.08m
▪Width of the wooden door = 1.2m
So, The total area of wooden door
= ( 2.08×1.2 ) m2
=2.496m2
The dimension of each pane is ••>
40cm by 20cm
i.e. 0.4m by 0.2m
Area of each glass pane
= (0.4×0.2) m2
=0.08m2
So, Area of 4 glass panes
=( 4×0.08 ) m2
=0.32m2
Therefore, area of wood
= (Total area of wooden door - area of 4 glass panes )
= (2.496 − 0.32) m2
=2.176 m2

If 'a' denotes the side of the square, then, length of each side of a square is 'a' units
We know that the area of the square is given by
Area = side × side
A = a × a sq. units
Therefore, A = a² square units
Therefore, a² = A Here, a is the side of the square.
Therefore, a² = √A
Therefore, side of the square = √Area

Speed is the rate at which an object moves. It’s a very basic concept in motion and all about how fast or slow an object can move.
Formula for Speed Distance Time is mathematically given as:
Speed = Distance/Time
Where
x = Speed in m/s,
d = Distance traveled in m,
t= time taken in s.
