A house and a home are not the same thing. They differ in many ways. A house is just a set of rooms made of brick and stone, wood and glass. It has an open ground, tile floors, cement plaster on the walls, windows and doors. But it is a lifeless structure.
A home is a living unit. It means a family, a set of members. It has parents and children. They are bonded with ties of love and respect. They take care of each other. They share each other’s joy and sorrow. They work selflessly and co-operate to meet their basic needs.

An adjective is a word that modifies or describes a noun, and an adverb is a word that describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb. An adjectival phrase is one that describes or modifies a noun, and an adverbial phrase is one that modifies a verb. An adjective phrase is a group of words headed by an adjective that modifies a noun. Example: She had extremely menacing eyes. An adverb phrase is simply a group of two or more words that function as an adverb in a sentence. Adverb phrases typically answer the questions how, where, why or when something was done, as you'll see in the adverb phrase examples below. Consider the following sentences: I parked the car. I parked the car here. A noun phrase is either a pronoun or any group of words that can be replaced by a pronoun. For example, 'they', 'cars', and 'the cars' are noun phrases, but 'car' is just a noun, as you can see in these sentences (in which the noun phrases are all in bold) Q: Do you like cars?

One day the king of that country visited the shepherd in disguise. He visited the shepherd because he had heard that the shepherd was very wise and understood people's sorrows and troubles, and helped them face their problems with courage and common sense. The new governor called to the palace because he used to carry an iron chest with him all the time and the king wanted to know the secret of that chest.
