After the tortoises left the forest, a strange smell of rot began to fill the forest. It was of rotting fruits on the ground and rotting animals in the river which the tortoise used to eat. When the snakes left the rats took over the forest as no one was there to eat them up and were everywhere on the trees, in the grass, in the bushes and on the ground and they were having a wonderful time. They ate up the eggs of the lizards and crocodiles and so there were no babies that year. The rats grew bolder every day. There were also too many frogs and they began to grow larger as there was no one to eat them. After the lizards left the forest, there were millions of insects everywhere and they grew bigger and nastier day by day.

Dear Uncle,

I hope you are in the best of your health and I am also doing good at this end.

Well, I celebrated my birthday a week ago. I celebrated it with the fullest enjoyment and entertainment. My mom had baked a chocolate cake, it was very yummy. I and my dad had invited my relatives and many of my friends including you. This birthday wasn't much special for me. I really missed your love towards me and that special gifts which you used to gift me. Unfortunately, you weren't available at that moment. I really missed you, uncle. No worries, I will surely come to visit you soon.

Please do reply soon, I will be eagerly waiting for your letter.

Yours truly,
Aparna

A dune is a landform composed of wind- or water-driven sand. It typically takes the form of a mound, ridge, or hill.[1] An area with dunes is called a dune system[2][3][4][5] or a dune complex.[6] A large dune complex is called a dune field,[7] while broad, flat regions covered with wind-swept sand or dunes with little or no vegetation are called ergs or sand seas.[8][9][10] Dunes occur in different shapes and sizes, but most kinds of dunes are longer on the stoss (upflow) side, where the sand is pushed up the dune, and have a shorter slip face in the lee side.[11] The valley or trough between dunes is called a dune slack.[12]
