Articles are A, An, The. 'A' comes before consonant which doesn't even starts with a sound of vowel. Eg-hollow, towel, Dish, etc 'An' comes before words starting with vowels and it should also sound like a vowel. Eg- honour, honest, M.A., Umbrella, etc 'The' comes before a particular thing, person or place.
