Random Access Memory (RAM) is used to store the programs and data being used by the CPU in real-time. The data on the random access memory can be read, written, and erased any number of times. RAM is a hardware element where the data being currently used is stored. It is a volatile memory.
Read Only Memory (ROM) is a type of memory where the data has been prerecorded. Data stored in ROM is retained even after the computer is turned off ie, non-volatile.

The most common unit is MIPS or millions of instructions per second (usually measured as an average when running some standard workload). Some companies try to use the clock frequency of the processor as an indicator of speed but it is a relatively poor indicator of the performance of the processor. It is a somewhat mor reliable indicator of the level of silicon technology used but in the modern era of a focus on low power consumption, clock frequency is an increasingly less reliable indicator of anything except the frequency of the oscillator that governs the CPU.

One of the ecommerce benefits is that it has a lower startup cost. Physical retail stores have to pay up to thousands of dollars to rent one of their store locations. They also have several upfront costs such as store signs, store design, buying inventory, sales equipment, and more. One of the most important disadvantages of e-commerce can be a lack of reliability and security because of poor implementation. The other factor is user resistance as most people are not comfortable in making a purchase without trying or physically touching the product.
