A Tense is a form taken by a verb to indicate the time of action.
Types of Tenses:
There are mainly three types of Tenses, they are:-
- The Present Tense
- The Past Tense
- The Future Tense
Each of these tenses are further subdivided into four types like:
1. The Present Tense:

The heart must beat faster during running because by increasing the heart rate, the body is able to increase cardiac output and deliver the necessary blood flow to the muscles. During running the body’s muscles increase their activity level and consume more oxygen. Increased blood delivery is necessary to allow for this increased demand.
