Avoid washing the bite area because any venom left on the skin can help identify the snake. DO NOT apply a tourniquet, cut the wound or attempt to suck the venom out.

We know that we get a proper taste of a food only when we can also smell it. During cold, our nose gets blocked and thus we cannot smell properly. This is why, we cannot taste properly when we have a cold.
