papillae
The tongue is a muscular organ in the mouth covered with a moist, pink tissue called the mucosa. It is involved in licking, tasting, breathing, swallowing, and speaking. The papillae present on the tongue gives it a rough texture. It is covered by a number of taste buds. There are several nerves in the tongue that help in transmitting taste signals to the brain, and thus helps in taste sensation.

There are some tribal communities who use animals as a means of their livelihood. We have seen snake charmers. They make the snakes dance to the tune of their long gourd flute (bin). The practice of catching snakes and training them to perform has traditionally been passed from father to son. For generations, it has provided an important means of support to the families of these communities. Similarly, bears and monkeys are trained by the 'Madaris' for dancing and showing acrobatics at the instruction of their master. Mahouts are the people who drive elephants and train them. They use chains and hooks (ankush) etc to handle and train them. They give elephant rides to people and earn a small amount of money. Circus people are very much dependent on animals for running their show. Animals such as elephants, monkeys, bears are trained to perform and entertain people in the circus.
It is not wrong to use animals to earn a living but one should be very careful towards not making them overwork, giving them enough rest food, clean drinking water, and keeping them in tidy shelters

During a performance, snake charmers may take a number of precautions. The charmer typically sits out of biting range and the snake is sluggish and reluctant to attack anyway. More drastic means of protection include removing the creature's fangs or venom glands, or even sewing the snake's mouth shut.

Snake charming is so violent, in fact, that the Indian Wildlife Act of 1972 actually banned it. ... It points out that a country that has worshipped snakes throughout its history can't “honor” the reptiles with acts of cruelty. After the government passed the Indian Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, the nomadic communities that make up India's snake charmers have been struggling for survival. The law banned the ownership of snakes, punishing violators with hefty fines and up to seven years in prison.
